I've been crafting in one way or another my entire life, it seems. My love of taking things and making them into something lovely started early. When I'm not making jewelry or taking pictures, I'm usually spending time with my darling daughter, Hannah Michelle and my wonderfully nerdy and sweet boyfriend, Willy. We currently have two co-dependent cats, which are sisters, named Thelma and Louise.
I love working with semi-precious gemstones and vintage materials. The never ending design possibilities that there are in these materials seduces me every time I sit down to begin a new piece.
I attribute my creative passion to my Mom, Mary Lou, whom recently passed away due to breast cancer. She was extremely gifted with the ability to crochet everything from table cloths to adorable bikini's and little baby booties. She has always been my inspiration.
I make jewelry because that's what I love to do. My free time consists of just that. If I'm not cooking, cleaning, or out with my family then I'm in my craft room at home meddling with my beads making something. I am constantly evolving through different experiences so I'm always experimenting with different things. My jewelry designs' style ranges from vintage/Victorian to sophisticated and modern, to shabby/chic. I'm always inspired by the works of so many gifted talents and artists. I have quite a few interests and love learning new things. So you'll notice a unique blend of style and design in my jewelry. (visit my Flickr photostream)
What I love most about this craft is seeing my creations come to life once a piece is finally done. To make a person feel beautiful, or just that little extra something that makes them feel good about themselves while wearing my jewelry is the icing on the cake for me!
