I am a fairly recentcomer to the beading world. A few years ago, I was wandering about my local Walmart, saw a jewelry kit and thought, why not? The rest, as they say, is history.
I enjoy stringing, several styles of wire wrapping, and filigree. I am beginning to learn netting, but I've got to say, I'm not the most patient person in the world when it comes to sewing! I plan to learn pearl knotting next, as well as anything else that might interest me. Sadly though, since breaking my thumb last year, I can no longer do bead sewing......unless and until the doc decides to sever the tendons. It's my right thumb, and because the tendons healed too tightly I now suffer from what is known as "trigger finger." But I can still hold a pair of pliers, thankfully!
My jewelry studio, Boutique V, is now available for viewing at www.boutiquev.us, and it is my hope to have pieces up for sale by the end of January. Stay tuned to my blog page for details......that's if I can get the darned thing working again! Tech savvy I am not! (lol)
