Hi fellow beaders! I have always enjoyed doing different types of crafts as a hobby, but had never really found any particular craft to be passionate about. I was introduced to beading at 18 by a family friend and instantly fell in love. I was unable to really get into it because I was so busy with life! The past several years, as my children got older, I was able to pick it back up. And only very recently (this past year!), I became very serious about showcasing and selling my beadwork. I have even dreamed about opening up my own bead shop. Wouldn't that be something!
I enjoy bead weaving and working with seed beads the most and have taught myself almost everything that I know. I, of course, do try to find ways to incorporate other types of beads into my work. It is always so much fun to see and wear my completed designs. Or the look in a person's face when they find out that I made it. The question, "Could you make me something like that?" is usually asked afterwards!
I am looking forward to making lots of friends on here and showing all of you what I can accomplish. I am also open to learning new stitches, ideas, and information from anyone.
