Of Irish/English origin, I have lived in the Caribbean most my life.
Spent my happy youth in St. Lucia, then went to the UK to work and
study. Spent 8 yrs there, completed a Design Dip and BA in Contemporary
Crafts. In ‘92, back to St. Lucia to begin the exciting journey working
in arts and crafts. I’ve worked for the St. Lucia gov’t as Crafts
Development Officer, co-owned 2 shops selling local arts, crafts,
gifts; co-owned Tififi Studio - handmade paper and paper products, with
my husband. I’ve met great people along the way - not least of all, my
very creative husband Tim.
We now live in Barbados, I’m re-becoming a jewelry artist and writing a
Book of creative projects and ideas. I do consulting and training too.
The world is full of adventures big
and small, and happiness is in the experience of it all; you just have
to keep your eyes and heart open.
I must always give thanks to my very supportive family who’ve kept me
going in rough times - and revelled with me when times are good. Thanks
for ever guys.
