So many books, so little time. I love bead/jewelry making books and am always adding to my library! I took full advantage of the 10 percent discount offered on Interweave publications available at Bead Fest Philly. That was a nice deal. Here's a link to a relelvant article that I came upon today at the About.com Beadwork site: Books, Books and More

Hello, hello, hello everyone!! Dont'cha just love it when someone comes along and resurrects an old thread? Didn't want you all to think I'd vanished! I was out of town for a few days and I FINALLY had a chance to crimp this baby today!! So.... here she is in all her glory!! Many, many thanks to all of you for your advice & suggestions

Thank you all once more for your feedback....I really, really appreciate it, and I see & understand all of your points of view. I am right now preparing for a pleasure trip, (YAY!!) so I will likely leave this little project sitting on my desktop until I return home. At this point, I'm leaning toward using all bicones & no graphics. Thanks

Ok....Sooooo indecisive am I!! I've decided to string 2 graphic beads btwn the onyx ovals on the 3rd strand, and I'll do the same on the 5th strand. After I see how this looks, I'll make a final decision on the design. I'm optimistic that this new change may make all the difference. I hope so! I'll keep you posted.

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU ALL for your feedback, your compliments, and for helping me to solidify my decision. Very much appreciated! Bicones it is, and I'm crimping either today or tomorrow!! For the record.... I made the last strand a bit longer. Here the strands are just sitting on the bust w/bead stoppers at the ends. Thanks again ladies

Thank you all so very much for your replies! Interesting that the responses were varied here too! I am leaning toward the bicones on that final strand, as I think the "flow" of the piece is much better. My thought is that the graphic beads just look out-of-balance on the last strand. Thank you again for the feedback and compliments! Regards

Hi Everyone! Haven't posted here in a while. My name is Carol and I've been learning to make jewelry since last August/September. I'm doing it as a hobby for now and enjoying it immensely. Perhaps someday, I'll sell too. I would really appreciate your opinion on my current piece pictured here. As you can see, it is a 5-strand necklace
