Well, we are all going to my sister's house. It will be potluck on the Thanksgiving theme. I have the task of taking two 15 pound turkeys. My sister Carlaine (who's house it is) will do the fried chicken and mashed potatoes, Patti will bring the pasta casserole and a pot of sauerkraut and sausage Polish style. Terri will bring a pumpkin roll

I am not sure what that pattern is. Could you post a picture for us? Thanks

Teressa, I would have to know what type of beads you used. If you used any crystals that may have been your problem. Crystals have very sharp edges. When ever I am making something woven that will incorperate crystals I will use 8# test fireline. Also if you have any bugles in the disign, they also have a way with cutting the thread. So when using bugles

Nope still no magazine. I went to their web site and checked out my subscription and it says it was sent on 11/2 so I filed a lost or damaged magazine. So they should soon be slipping another in the post for me. Glad you got yours. I am working tomorrow and I am sure it will be doubly hard not to sneek a peek at the magazine. So far I have been good

Your welcome I am glad you liked the site. And yes, it would be a good set to tote to classes.

It looks nice Lynn. I think your customer will really like it as well.

The way I see it Sherri, you have nothing to lose by trying. You say you were going to throw them out so give it a try. I think if they're sterling silver you can heat them to make them more malleable. I am not sure if that will work on base metal. Let us know if it worked or not. I bought some headpins from Michaels when I first started using them

Welcome Amy, I also love your avatar. What a wonderful piece of art. You did a wonderful job on it from what I can see. I hope you can squeeze in a little time to spend with us. We would love to get to know you better.

They are used to make loops in wire. If you don't do wire work they don't have much use. Wire work can be as little as looping a headpin to make into earrings or as much as doing wire wrapping. They are not used in all aspects of making jewelry. They have no use for stringing or bead weaving.
