  • Re: Thanksgiving Menu - This is Mine, What's on Yours?

Sherri-- YES! Well, not with the turkey, but about mid January, I pull the ham bone out of the freezer and make ham-n-bean soup. SO much better WITH the bone! Lois

Thanks Sherri! We did ok, and yes, I was washing my hands LOTS, and using lots of purell... in fact, I'm all out now. But Steve is much better today. Working from home, but he's up and able to work reasonably well. He still had to go lie down a couple times, but he says he's feeling human again. And I seem to have escaped. Probably helps

Then when you eat them

Thanks all for your extra prayers and concern. DH is getting over it, just not as quickly as he'd like. I'm just hoping he'll be back up to speed by Monday next week, as we've got MY family coming in for Thanksgiving. We'll see what happens! Lois

  • Re: crimping problems with cord and cord substitution

I don't do either, I litterally tie the knot (just a basic square) AROUND the bead itself. I do use a beading needle to help snug it right down before I do the second cross over for the knot. Does that make sense? Lois
