When I download a PDF, I save it and then use Foxit [free], I don't use it much though. I also have the free 'Fireshot' which allows me to copy, crop or otherwise modify items I want to save, such as tutorials with illustrations, photos, drawings, that i would otherwise havew difficulty saving. (I do have Acrobat Reader though.}
