Hi, after christmas, and the christmas sales I seem to have a collection of really nice tins, most had biscuits in them! Does anyone have any ideas for what bead-related items could be stored in them? Does anyone use tins to store beads etc??

Hi, I just won "The Best In Contemporary Beadwork" at an online auction for $6 It looks like a cool book (the pictures on the back page look awesome!) and I thought it was a bargain so snapped it up! Hi, When I first learnt tubular peyote I got a bit obsessed with it and made a lot of necklaces just in plain tubular peyote, in single colours! When I first started, when i got towards the end/where I wanted to attach the clasp, i decreased two or three times, and the exited from a bead in the centre of a circle, and added 4-6 beads, and went back

Hi, When you knot beading thread it is a good idea to put a small dot/dab of clear nail polish onto the knot, let it dry, and it makes the knot much more secure and stronger. Also, once you have made a knot to attach the beadwork to the clasp, thread the thread end back through the beading, and cut the thread in a middle bead if possible. I've learnt

Wow! The colour of the rivoli is incredible! I have a question about rivolis - Ive been looking at buying a couple to experiment using in beadwork - are they supposed to have a hole in the top front or no holes? some I have seen online have a hole in them!

Thanks for that. Because I bought it online, I would have to pay for return postage, but because all the right pages are there, im not going to bother. I will think of it as a 'special' book!
