  • Re: Matching Color of Thread to Beads

Thank you - just wondering ...would you use thread close to the bead color or a neutral color??

  • Matching Color of Thread to Beads

What is the best color to use for gold-lined and matte-gold seed beads. The instructions list Fireline, but it does not state crystal or smoke. If I chose to use Silamide or Nymo D, do I use grey or gold - lighter or darker.

Hi Mary - please read my response to Gina. You can also purchase patterns featured in their previous magazines. I'm not sure if Spiceberry is one of them, but keep checking the Interweave Press Store's Projects. It may appear as a project at a later date. http://www.interweavestore.com/Beading-Jewelry/Projects/Bracelets.html

  • CLASPS ON 28" NECKLACES

Is there a reason, other than design, to attach a clasp onto a necklace that is more than 28 inches (that can easily be slipped on over the head)? I make necklaces with tassled pendants to add weight, but with light weight beads it tends to drape off center. Would a clasp solve this problem?
