  • Re: Share your jewellery photography technique.

Thanks for sharing your technique Kay. Your metalwork is gorgeous. Be sure to check out my free project article "3 Steps to Better Beadwork Photos" in the FREE PROJECTS section. It also focuses on shooting in daylight. I'm hoping to get another article out for those who are limited to or prefer to shoot indoors with artificial light. Will

Hi Martha! Thanks for the feedback. Maybe Michelle will let me write a "sequel" to my article just for us night-owls! The reason for my focusing on daylight photography is that there's nothing "Simple" about indoor (and I'm talking pitch-dark-room-indoor) photography. Alo Dalia! Thank you for your post. You are on the right track, and after looking at your blog photos, I have a pretty good guess what is going on, so I'll try to help. What you are doing is something I did for a while as well. It looks like this is a matter of using the "brightness" or "exposure" levels in your computer software

Hi Carmen! Thanks for the post. I checked out the site you linked to. If I'm correct, the article you mention regarding building a homemade $15 light box is actually authored by Cheryl Coccaro, while Rena Klingenberg is the site owner. I appreciate the work that Rena has put into her site and admire her ambition and personal outlook on life...I

I have been working with Michelle Mach, BeadingDaily Editor, who has graciously given me the opportunity to write an article on a subject that combines my two favorite pastimes...beading and photography. Thanks, Michelle! My article, "3 Simple Steps to Better Beadwork

Hi everyone! I'm new to the forums, and came across your discussion on photographing jewelry/beads, etc. Be sure to check your BeadingDaily email tomorrow, Monday June 30th...Michelle Mach has given me the wonderful opportunity to write an article on the subject, and it will be featured in her blog entry for the day. Thanks, Michelle! If I can figure
