Thanks everyone for the suggestions. Here in Fairbanks Alaska, I have only been able to get the 3 1/2 inch ones shown in the first picture at our WalMart in the brown and clear. If they have them, I get 10 sets at a time. Which is about every two to three weeks. At $1.82 each. I can get the 3 inch ones that come in a pack of 6 different color sets at

I just got an e-mail from Jacque asking for the directions for the hair combs that my Husband and I made. I thought I sent it already. I have been looking all over the site and can't find it. I am so sorry that I may not have sent it at all. These are the directions for how we made our first beaded double hair combs. I haven't read how to do

Thank you all for your wonderful comments. My Husband will love to hear what all of you said. As I said before, Jim showed me how to do this and he designed these. I will get him to write down the directions this weekend and I will post them for all who are interested. Thanks again. Talk to you soon. Sue

Thanks for the advice everyone. Thank you Pam for the 'how to' with pictures. I would have never of figured it out. I have SnapFish, and using your info I got to the part of getting it on the page, but it wouldn't show the picture. I got a box with a red x in it. So I used Photobucket. As you can see, my hair is short. I think they would

  • A Wonderful 4th of July

Hope everyone had a Great 4th of July. I had the best one of my entire life. My Husband is a carpenter by trade and I do crochet and knitting mostly. I told my husband about what I was trying to do and showed him the pictures of the hair combs. I also showed him another site where they use plastic hair combs. Here they drill holes into the plastic combs

Hello Everyone, It is now 1:30am and I am still at it, trying to find a pattern or instructions for the stretchy hair combs. I have seen quite a few sites where other people are also looking for them. No one seems to be able to find anything. I found the only thing thus far available. The Patent for them. I found this under Free Patents online. They

  • Hello from Newbe in Fairbanks Alaska

Hello everyone. I saw your site and was very impressed. So I joined. (Not a lot of people just bickering and name calling instead of keeping to the subject matter. I hate that!!!) I have done a few bracelets and ankle bracelets with stretchy cord. I saw these 'EZ Double Combs' on one site and again on another site called 'Hairzings'
