Welcome! my name is Melissa, and I live in Black Mountain, NC, and Bar Harbor, Maine.
I am a beader, paper artist, ceramicist, needlework designer, poly-clay player, and serious hoarder of things I pick up on beaches. I am selt-taught, so I am always looking for new ideas, new stitches, etc. to improve my education. I always use materials on-hand, so I've never duplicated a design, but use the instructions to create my own form of the magnificent art that is out there. Someday, I hope to have my skills honed to the point where I feel that "artist" can by my title, too!
