My Bio

I have been beading for the past 26+ years; making and selling beaded jewerly at fairs, shows, parties and at work.  I started with stringing (I loved working with pearls; learning new knotting techniques and perfecting my own knotting).  I would take classes here and there , and as I became better,  I included gemstones to my beading and "graduated" to a more upscaled environment. I was then introduced to beading with wire; which I thought I found my passion only to be shown wireworking!  I was hooked; so much so that I have since gone back to college to take up jewelry designing and repair.  I have now graduated from college with honors! I love working with wire and the various aspects of wireworking.  I am aspiring tomaster wireworking; and (if I can be only a 1/8th as good as Dale "Cougar" Armstrong, I will be (somewhat satisfied) include enameling and other factors to my work.  There are several "masters" who have been inspiring me; one as you can tell, is Dale "Cougar Armstrong; not to mention Lisa Nivens and many more.  I look forward to perfecting chain maille and other avenues of jewelry design.

As for my family, I am married to the most wonderful man and have two very handsome boys (or men I should say).  My oldest got married in 2009 and my C

As for my personal life, I am married to the most wonderful man in the world and have two very handsome boys (or should I say men). We now have expanded our family to add a daughter for my oldest son got married in March, 2009. She is a beautiful addition to our family.  Our second son is in the process of helping us gain another daughter.  We also have a spoiled "child" by the name of Caesar who is our yorkshire terrier.  He doesn't like for me to work in the studio because that means no time for him.  However, he is truly a good, smart, fun companion.

I will be starting to write blogs; including Facebook soon.  I look forward to exchanging ideas and tips with my fellow jewerly community.
