I have been crafting since I was a child. When I am not enrossed in a good book, I am making something either for my Etsy shop or to give as a gift. I tend an online bookstore called Treasure Island Books with my husband. We specialize in quality used and out-of-print books. My husband and I live with roughly 10,000 books in Keizer, Oregon; about half of those are our private collection. We enjoy quick jaunts to the Oregon Coast and long road trips. I have a weakness for cartoons, gumdrops, Edward Gorey, jazz, British comedy, blues, hazelnuts, live theatre, lighthearted mystery stories, and pretty rocks...not necessarily in that order. I appreciate the beauty of nature in all Her forms. I avoid pop culture whenever possible, especially sensationalized non-celebrities, whom I find absurd. I am a political and religious skeptic, preferring to think for myself.
