Hello, I am from New England and just started beading about 5 months ago. I don't even remember how I got started but I know once I did start, I got excited about it and went nuts buying tons of beads and all the good stuff that goes along with the craft. I am now working on making enough inventory so that I can try my very first craft show. All my creations come from within and I do not copy or use any patterns. I do enjoy the gothic looks to jewelry so I try to create with that in mind. I do however make other jewerly as well, but my favorite is the gothic look. My favorite beads are the crystals, in garnet, siam, ruby, any blood color as I call it. also black and gold as well. I am not a big fan of silver although I do have some silver items in my collection, I mostly work with gold. I Know I have a lot to learn and I try to find out what is new out there and try to learn some new techniques. I have always thought of myself as creative so this really helps me to bring out my creative side. My husband tells me that he can see I am improving with each new piece I make. That makes me feel good especially since he is a man. Well, I would love to hear what you all think of my jewelry and where I can make improvements, so feel free to leave comments and questions as well, I enjoy them all. Thanks and have a great day!
