My Bio

 Hi All,

I am a new beader.  My husband and Step-by-Step magazine are resposible for my new addiction.  I asked my husband to bring me a book or magazine on a craft I did not do while I was recouping from back and neck surgery and he brought me Step-by-Step.  Since then, I can't get enough of beads and patterns and beads and patterns and already have family wanting to buy my jewelry.  Tooo much fun. Not sure my husband thinks so Smile  as I've developed a real love of bead suppliers on the internet.

I'm 52, a mother of 3 grown sons and have 7 grandbabies and 2 granddogs.  I filled my empty next with 3 dogs.  I am married to a wonderful man who supports me in every everything I do and even my crafts.

I live in the wonderful state of TN which I call home, but was actually born in MI but left when I was still a baby.  I've lived all over the US.  NOPE not a military brat.  My dad just liked to move.  I did spend 8 years in the Army NG myself and 2 on active duty, one for training and the other for Desert Storm.

I love anything crafts, Paper, needlecraft, wire, BEADS, CLAY, JEWELRY.  I love the outdoors and taking pics of nature and reading.  I just got a new camera that I haven't a clue how to use.

I am a Christian and my faith and my family are my treasures.

So, that's me in a nutshell.

I LOVE earrings.  My ears are pierced, wires or posts are great.  Sterling, Gold, Plated.  Love most colors except olive and yellow green.  I don't wear much yellow either.  I like dangles,  just not real long ones, maybe 1.5" at the longest and not super heavy.  Other than that - Just have fun, I'm sure I'll love them.

I'm pretty easy.  I LOVE jewelry, especially handcrafted unique pieces.  I'm a pretty small person, so big jewelry doesn't look very good on me.  I love beads, crystals, all metals, wire, clay, buttons, yarn, stones, you name it.   Like I said, I'm pretty easy.  I'm not allergic to anything that I know of in the jewelry world except some inexpensive metals turn me green :-)
