I learned bead stringing and peyote stitch when I was about 8 years old, and over the years I made some jewelry here and there. I returned to beading seven years ago after becoming disabled. Now I spend most of my "good" hours beading, reading bead books and magazines, buying beads, organizing beads or planning designs. My bead collection has overflowed the spare bedroom and has crept into the living room, and it shows no signs of stopping! I've dabbled in pretty much every beading/jewelry technique out there, but I love off-loom beading and wirework.
I live with my husband, four cats, three birds and a dog, all of whom try to "help" me bead in their own way.
