I really appreciate being able to have your free stamped earrings instructions. I have been thinking about making some metal embellishments for earrings and necklaces, but didn't know just where to start. This gives me a starting point and since I should have useable tools, I will give this a try soon. Thanks, pat

but what do you use to punch the hole in it? I have been to the big box home stores in the past looking for something to punch nice holes in lightweight metal and they look at me like I am crazy. I miss the days of the small local owned hardware store where the guys could understand my "woman-speak" and find me a tool or part that worked.

I would love to try making these earrings, but my local hardware store did not have tools required.

Oh - DIANEU - there's a great metal punch out there, with two sizes of punches in one small, inexpensive tool. Try FireMountain or Connie Fox's website (Jatayu) for that, if I remember correctly. I have one but can't remember quite where I bought it. And three cheers for "woman-speak"! Awesome project. I really appreciate the tips on how to make my own stamps. Can't wait to get started. Ladies, don't feel bad about some guys not being able to to understand "women-speak." Lots of ladies don't get "guy-speak." It's what makes it all interesting. ;-)
