Janine, these beads are acrylic deep purple 8 mm rounds.  They have this illusionary depth though. They are a nice amethyst in color :)

Tamara, this is the Half Persian 4in1 chainmaille weave made with deep purple 16gauge 5/16 Anodized Aluminum rings

from Blue Buddha Boutique. :)
