This is different but I think it would be nicer done in twisted wire!!! Perhaps I am wrong but the leather does nothing for me but the pattern is lovely.

I think it would be lovely in twisted wire as well, but I really like the leather look too. It gives a simplicity and earthiness to the piece. Great use of colors!
