another one of my older pieces from last spring.

The 30+ petals in this piece were beaded separately,
then attached to a bamboo stick. Each bead was strung
one at a time using the peyote and brick stitch. It took
thousands of tiny beads and countless hours to make this
very unique accessory!

I sure enjoy your work.  You are very talented.  I like your profile name as well. There is nothing like the Islands of Aloha!

Thanks for posting your beautiful pieces!

Thank you so much!

So true; I was overwhelmed as soon as I got off the plane! You can probably tell how much the islands have inspired me. :)

Mahalo and Aloha!

thats really pretty. did you use wire or thread?

I used both, but all the beadweaving was done with thread. The wirework is hidden beneath the petals.
