Beadcap pendant made from basketweave in sterling. Rough chunky iolite completes it. Measures 1.5 inches.

This is very nice, is the wire smooth and you wind the smaller wire around it?  And the round beads—how did you make that effect?

Yes there is a smooth wire underneath the wrapping. This technique is actually based on a basket making method called 'coiling'. It is hard for me to explain how to add the beads in just words alone. If you search online for how to coil a basket, you will also find some variations that explains how to add the beads.

I know of some wire tutorials that also teach this, if you email me I can give you more info if you really want to learn.
