By Dawn Fatheree

About her project:  This ribbon reminded Dawn of the varied hues of the leaves of African Violets.  She used size 11 seed beads in irridescent green, lilac, and clear pink, size 15 dark violet seed beads, and light lilac 3x4mm rice-shaped fresh water pearls to create the netted lace and the embellishments.  For the clasp, she used a brooch given to her as a young girl by her grandma, running the pin through loops of the netting and behind the ribbon tails to hold it in place
