Turquoise over warm hues of gold in the lampwork pendant reminded Kitty of the deserts found in the Southwest. The bold turquoise beads along with the warm amber chips mimic the colors in the lampwork pendant. For more about this project, see "Coiled Wire Necklace with Lampwork Pendant."

The amber chips gives the necklace an organic flavor.
