Technique: Herringbone Stitch, Ladder Stitch

The ladder-stitched cube beads in this bracelet form a sturdy foundation row that helps you begin herringbone stitch. The row is then repeated along the length of the bracelet for visual and structural support. The result is a striking design with a supple feel. This project is from Beadwork magazine.

I love this bracelet...I have made about 5 so far all in different colors. Its really lovely when you swap out the crystal cubes for metallic ones too! Thank you for such a great pattern!

I'm making a really cool breast collar addition for my horses with this design and larger pony beads.  A smaller version will eventually adorn her headstall.

I can't wait to try this bracelet - I'm going to modify the pattern so it's about 1/4 of the size - I'm really excited to try it!!
