Glass Flower Pendant

I made this flower pendant using the off hand lampwork technique with borosilicate glass and an oxygen and propane torch. I flatten the end of a clear glass rod and use small colored rods to draw the flower design onto the disc. I spin the disc in a large flame and coax the flower drawing to move up into the clear glass and become and 3-d pattern. I then add a clear loop so I can string it onto a necklace.

Oh, this is absolutely fabulous. I would so much like to get into glass burning (I don't know the proper expression in English) but I live on a boat and there's no space for it.

You've done a beautiful job. I hope you'll post more of your work because I'm dying to see it.

Greetings from Karin.

Thanks Karin, I think you could lampwork on a boat if you wanted to :) That would be awesome! Thanks for the nice comments.
