Graduated Color Peruvian Opal Necklace

6mm natural, undyed faceted Peruvian opal round beads were sorted by intensity of color, then strung with sterling silver, Swarovski crystal, and smoky quartz to make this double-strand necklace. I love Peruvian opal... the waters remind me of the colors of the Caribbean.

Thank you... yes, these little guys are truly magical. I think sometimes we get so caught up in trying to make things complex in an effort to outdo each other in style, that we forget about how elegant simplicity and natural inner light can be. To me, it felt like I was holding the joy of warm Caribbean waters in my hands when I held these, and they wanted to be strung like water in sunlight. Simple, but arresting.
