Very nice. Like the way you ended with the black and white beads; ties in the color of the beads under the blue highlight spiral. It's nicely balanced (color and texture).
Thanx Ottercat!
I'm looking forward to your next gallery post. Although I don't understand your special way of loom beading. I don't even know anything about ordinary loomwork. I'll have a look at it when my internet connection improves.
Thank you for asking, there is no loom involved. I developed a stitch because I couldn't find a loom to work an earlier piece that wasn't a loom friendly shape (celtic eagle) which I'll post later. Currently writing up a handbook for that stitch, because in the last 14 years I've been using it, I haven't found another like it. If you're interested, let me know and I'll email you a copy once I'm finished.
Stunningly elegant! I'd love a copy of the handbook when you've completed it.
