This sparkly rose ring was hand-sculpted from fimo/ polymer clay, then
baked just right, so that the thin, delicate petals harden to
perfection. The color of this rose has swirls of yellows and oranges
that are more noticeable in the light (just like the pictures).
When
sculpting roses, I aim to make them look as life-like as possible. This
rose has no gloss coating- which is usually done by most to add more
durability and hardness to polymer clay projects, but I chose not to do
this because I think it takes away the "life-like" look that I'm going
for. So please keep in mind that this is a delicate piece, and only wear
it for special occasions....
*The rose is wrapped with quality bright gold-tone copper wire treated to resist tarnishing.
