Gothic Butterfly Bracelet

This is my take on the Gothic Butterfly Bracelet from the January 2011 Beadwork magazine.  I meet with a group of ladies that are all making this bracelet and it will be interesting to see how different they all look with everyone's bead choices & colors.  I thought this bracelet was a little confusing to put together, but it's well worth the effort.

I made this bracelet into a necklace and had problems with the pattern as well. I had to make a few adjustments for it to work and the clasp failed, so I remade it with delicas as the interior beads and it seems to be holding better. I did mine in Black and silver with a light siam rivioli. Turned out beautifully.
