Glass Flower Pendant

I made this flower pendant using the off hand lampwork technique with borosilicate glass and an oxygen and propane torch. I flatten the end of a clear glass rod and use small colored rods to draw the flower design onto the disc. I spin the disc in a large flame and coax the flower drawing to move up into the clear glass and become and 3-d pattern. I then add a clear loop so I can string it onto a necklace.

Copper Mokume Gane Pendant Necklace

Artisian crafted from a vintage cookie tin with a lovely floral pattern. Each piece was cut filed and sanded smooth. the pendant consists of a 2-1/2' main disk with a 1' center disk as the floower center. It is connected to the main disk with silverplated wire as the stamens. A bail was formed with the silverplated wire and connects to a 20' non tarnish aluminum chain with toggle clasp.

Sterling silver and amethyst pendant necklace.

The beautiful cabochon amethyst is surrounded by sterling silver and swings from sparkling necklace of faceted amethyst. The softly polished, dome shaped royal purple pendant is remarkable for the depth of color found in it.

The central amethyst measures approximately 1 ¼ inches by 1 inch. The pendant drop, including the filigree sterling silver bezel is a little over 1 ½ inches.

The necklace is a mix of solid amethyst and unique swirled lighter amethyst and white gemstones in an original design. This blend adds texture and interest to the overall look of the piece. Sterling silver beads and a sterling silver clasp complete the necklace.

The necklace is approximately 23 ½ inches long.

I love the natural look of the amethyst gemstones. Because they are natural, not died, there is a slight color variation that adds to the unique look of this piece. Hand faceting further enhances the gemstones by adding flash and sparkle.

Metaphysically, amethyst is a gemstone that encourages inner peace, serenity, courage and balance.

Green & White Agate Statement Necklace

Gorgeous Tree Agate Pendant surrounded by silver swings from a necklace of Tree Agate and silvery pewter flowers.

The necklace is 19 1/2 inches long with a 3 inch extender chain. The pendant is 2 inches by 1 1/12 inches.

The matrix on the Snow White and Kelly Green Tree Agate reminds me of winter in the mountains - the tops of evergreen trees peaking out from the deep blanket of snow. The finish is a soft glowing polish - just enough to catch the light. It is beautiful.

The shiny pewter adds just a touch of sparkle.

This necklace is 3 hand crocheted beaded ropes made of Japanese seed beads that are matte finished & translucent lined with bronze. I love this type of bead! They have such a rich look to them. The pendant is three gold colored ginko leaves. It is actually an ornament created by the "Silver Seasons" studios that I re-purposed into a pendant by cutting off the long loop and re-fashioned and welded it into a smaller loop. It is suspended from a bail made of the same type of Japanese seed beads along with some matte finished gold cube beads. The pendant can be removed and the ropes worn alone. They can be twisted as shown or worn hanging loosely. Three necklaces in one!

Ammonite & Copper Nugget Collar

This necklace is a semi-rigid collar style. It is all handmade with Japanese seed beads & small solid copper beads using a combination of beadweaving techniques. The focal piece is designed with a fossil ammonite shell that I have polished to show the beautiful chatoyancy of the ammonite fossil. I then fused a solid copper nugget to the ammonite it is then suspended from a bail made of handwoven copper wire & the same seed beads & copper beads used I in the collar. The pendant can be removed and the collar worn alone. The primary weave of the collar is a Cellini Spiral.
