hi all
I hope you won't get bored - - more beaded beads:
I found the instructions in kriszta's blog - in Hungarian, which was quite a challenge for a beading greenhorn like me to work after some drawings only
best regards, ginette

Oh, how lovely beads. I adore them all, but I have a thing for thhe seedies you've used in the second last one, the greenish ones with a golden hue to them. Gorgeous. I hope you will share the finished pieces, too.

hi labup
I'm sure you could make these ones, if a beginner like me can! see here http://manogyongyei.blogspot.com/search/label/minta%2Fpattern scroll down, it's called "sultan's hat".

hi ingrid
as for the seedies it's TOHO color code 380 (at least here in Europe), called "topaz / mint julep" - I LOVE this color.
as for the finished pieces - hm, I've got NO IDEA what to do with these beads... maybe second same ones and earrings?
They have a very vintage look to me. Would go nicely with antique brass filagree.

Oh Ginette those are absolutely beautiful!!! They would make pretty pins, too, if you could get a pin back on them.

I just looked at the link. Doesn't look like they are flat backed so maybe a pin wouldn't work. They are still gorgeous.
I can't get tired of beaded beads! These ones are beautiful! I like how you explored so many different color combinations too. :)

Are you sure they wouldn't make pins - I LOVE pins, wear them all the time and these are terrific. I love your color combos, especially the gold ones and the blue and red, I can think of a dozen sweaters that I would use them as button/pins for - I'm too lazy to actually make button holes on my cardigan sweaters so I just use a bead or a button made into a pin to close them at the top and these would be so cool. How big are they? It's hard to tell and where did you get the instructions? Not sure I could follow pictures only, you must be really good. Anyway, thanks for sharing!

Those are wonderful! I love the colors and the textures.

hi erin
I thought that too. do you maybe remember back in the Seventies when we (or in my case my mum) wore those "dog collar" like chokers made from velvet with mostly one big focal bead or other focal point? I thought of creating something like these, but these beads are not flat backed. they are about 22 mm in diameter and 17 mm in height (from hole to hole), so I have to think of a solution...
PS: I absolutely LOVE the Michael Jackson wrist corsage and the "finger rings" on your website!!
