I started out doing a tubular peyote just for the fun of it, then I remembered these lucite black rose/gunmetal filigree things that I had so I made a pendant about of them. The beaded bail was made with the square stitch and a little beaded loop to hang the pendant on. And the the bail/pendant easily slides off and the rope can be worn alone. :)

This is gorgeous! You really thought so much out, perfectly!
I like how you ended each side and the 'necklace weight' is such a nice touch!

Very cool-that pendant is really nice. You're making me want to start working with black-I hardly ever use it for some reason, but I have plenty of black beads.
I have some plastic rose pendants similar to that but haven't figured out what to do with them. Perhaps I'll have to try something similar.

Thanks everyone! :) lol, yeah you can tell that I like black!
You do? I hadn't noticed.
My baby girl would love that. Her two favorite colors are black and purple. It's funny, I call her a "Rainbow Goth-Hippy". She wears mainly black, but her bookbag and purse(another bookbag if you ask me *laughz*) are rainbow and tie-dyed colored Peace signs and such. She acts a lot like me, but tries to maintain that teen angst bad attitude, ya know. *laughz* She fails at it miserably. *grinz* Gotta love her though.
Great work on the piece, I'm sure that you'll have no problem selling it. Unless you decide to keep it, that is. Then you may have to worry about someone snaking it on the sly side, ya know. *grinz*
