I'd like to see how you finished the ends.

    Lita,

I followed the instructions and re-wrapped around the beads and clasp 4 or so times and then burned the end. I will try to get a close up but am photographically challenged....Big Smile

Courtney, you definitely did it! Isn't that a good feeling? And it looks like a Advent wreath. You did a gret job.

For spirals I use Nymo and sometimes Fireline, if the beads are heavy and need a bit more stabilization. But most of the time Nymo is fine with 11/0.

Seriously, go to Fusion Beads  (http://www.fusionbeads.com/beadingfaq/techniques.php?bfid=29) and I am happy to send you the instructions that Deb sent me, if you want.  If I can do it, anyone can.

I love your Christmas berries!  I'd like to see a close-up too.  Was this difficult to do?  I haven't really done any weaving aside from a bunch of bookmarks I made years ago.  How did you learn?  From a book?  Or did someone show you how?  I really like the way this turned out, it looks like it has an interesting texture, I can't really see if the green beads are smaller, it looks like they are.  I like the way you have photographed this, the weathered wood makes a nice background.  Thanks for sharing.  I want to see more!

Good job Coutney! I was looking at a video tutorial on the flat spiral and found one on the spiral.  I really want to try both - again, problem is finding the time!

     Andrea,

you are too kind. I used Fusion beads tutorial and some directions that Deb sent me. It was actually easy. I used size 8 seed beads, both the red and green are the same color.  White Nymo thread.  I really struggle with directions - much  more of a visual learner.  The pictures/directions were very straight forward.  I will try to get a close up for you.

I think that you could use either. I was thinking of going a bit bigger for a try.  I purchased a tube of each of the colors and had roughly half a tube left over.

    thanks!
