    Hello from Hitchin, UK

Hi there. I am new to bead forums and forums in general but am very much looking forward to talking with like minded people.

My little (although he thinks he is now quite big) boy is now 2 and a half, and just over a year ago I started planning a small business I could run from home whilst spending the maximum amount of time watching him grow up. I have always been fond of anything that sparkles and with limited space I fell upon beads with enthusiasm. The last year has been a big learning curve (both on the bead and business front) but as of last week my business was finally 'turned on' and already I have made three sales . . to say I am over the moon would be an understatement

I am really looking forward to getting to know you all a bit better!

    Anna

Hi there Anna, and welcome to the forums. Congrats on your sales!

Welcome Anna! We're glad to have you joining us for all the fun! Beading really is addicting... I find I usually put all the money I make back into more beads. Why is it we never have enough? *sigh* oh well! I will just keep enjoying it, and keep outgrowing my storage space!

    Hi Anna,

and welcome from across the Channel! Glad you joined us! And make sure you spend enough time with your little one. They grow up sooooo fast! I have no kids so far, but a cute little niece who is now four months old and she changes every day.

I'm thinking: were you the one with the new website, asking for feedback? Big Bead Little Bead. It would fit with your nick in you avatar. Nice website!

Hi everyone and thanks for the warm welcome.  Beading is addictive isn't it.  Even though individually they are so small, it is funny how soon you find yourself sitting in a sea of them (ooh, lovely to run your hands through).  I am enjoying experimenting with polymer clay at the moment, so if I can get my head round the technicals I will upload some pictures.

     Anna,

I'd like to join in the welcome to the forum....you'll love it! This is a wonderfully supportive group, and there's lots of help to be found, too. I'm jealous that you found something that allows you more time at home with your son...I never seemed to have enough time with my 3 boys growing up....the time just seems to fly! Enjoy every second, and remember.....little boys are fun to teach to bead, too!
