Ohhhhhhhh Billy, those sound like a great idea!  Maybe I'll try my hand at that!  A tigereye mini-rosary would look great on my car, too, as my car is gold with tan interior.

Thanks for chiming in with this! Wink

    AndreaM:
I've posted a picture of the purse charm that I made for Callie (my son's girlfriend) it's the one with the bunny.  The other is one of the more expensive commissions.

    Andrea, those are gorgeous!  Indifferent

I like your jewelry-making style, as it is similar to mine.  I don't think I'd use these as car jewelry (I know, that's not what you made them for), although they sure would be pretty.  Myself, I like to make charm bracelets in this style, but they take so long to make - all those wrapped loops!

It's a great idea for purse jewelry!  I like both pieces you pictured!

Thank you Sherri!  I'd love to see some of your work, do you have anything posted?  I like to make charm bracelets too - I love bracelets with tons of dangles, in fact here is one that I finished just recently -

    Wow, Andrea!

Your style is very, very much like mine!  Your bracelet you pictured above has inspired me to make one myself.  I use lots of pearls, especially rice shape as in your bracelet.  That's gorgeous!

Incidentally, I have a friend who lives in Espanola, NM - known her since the first grade - so it is very possible we might meet someday, that is if you keep posting on the BD as a regualr and we become "friends".

Nice work on that bracelet!  I'd have to charge an arm and a leg for it, because of the time it takes to make all those wrapped loops!  Practice makes perfect, though!

If you want to see one of my charm bracelets, go to the Reader Showcase section of the BD and look for the post on the finished Halloween bracelet.

    Here's the link:  http://www.beadingdaily.com/forums/t/4716.aspx

Not sure why it won't turn into a weblink in the post.  We just started using Firefox in lieu of Internet Explorer - still getting used to it.

I had it posted in my Etsy store for two days when a woman I work with just HAD to have it.  I used Sterling chain, Sterling Halloween charms and Swarovski crystals.   I sold it for just under $100.

If you want to see my work, click on the link to my Etsy shop - you'll find it at the end of any of my BD posts (in my "signature line").  I invariably use gemstones, FW pearls and Swarovski crytals (with Sterling silver) in nearly all of my creations.  I'm stuck on that combination of components!

This first pic is a good luck dongle from Taiwan. Apparently they are very popular over there. The flower bead is jade. Quite nice. I'm actually giving some zipper pulls/cell phone charms as Christmas presents this year (2nd pic - beads are jasper).

Two or three years ago I bought a cross necklace at Kohl's marked down to $5.  I just took the cross off the chain and used ribbon to tie around my rear view mirror.  I love it because it reminds me that God is with me.  Car jewelry is a great idea for Christmas.  I'll have to play around with that idea.  Thanks.  Lynn
