    Re: October Bracelet Reveal

Hey, ya'll!  Wow, I'm really impressed with the beautiful bracelets everyone made!  But I gotta say, mine is hands down the prettiest of all!  Courtney strung faceted briolettes in aqua, sapphire, and amethyst shades, along with a semi-translucent aqua, all in a mix of sizes and blended with white freshwater pearls.  It's finished off with a simple sterling silver toggle clasp, the perfect choice for a bracelet with such wonderful texture.  And of course, it fits me perfectly!  Courtney, THANK YOU!!!

It arrived yesterday, I picked it up while on my way to lunch with the Tuesday Beadin' Bash ladies.  Of course I HAD to open the package so I could show off my pretty new bracelet to all my friends -- lots of jealous ooooh's and aaaaah's, I can tell ya!  The colors are so "me", and I love the way the briolettes nest together.  Courtney, you really outdid yourself!  Did you happen to take photos, or shall I?

BTW, I haven't seen that my "mark" has received their bracelet yet.  Rats, the mail is driving up the bloomin' wall these days!  Courtney, turns out you chose the perfect packaging, the priority mail box arrived in great shape, so maybe it was worth the extra couple of dollars?  Took 3 weeks to get here, though, and with our mail situation as it is these days, that's likely to get worse and worse.  Grrrrrrrrr!

    Have a beadiful day!

     Oh Lisa,

I am so glad that you got it. I was getting really worried! Really worried.  I was in a hurry to get it out and forgot to take pictures, would you mind?  I have to say that I loved it so much that I made another one in pinks/yellows!  It is fun and catches the light.

OK, ahem....... I have to admit something. It seems that I have misplaced the bracelet Jeannie made for me! I put it in a box to take it with me to work and get a photo and now I can't find the box. It isn't in my backpack, it isn't in my studio, it isn't in my desk in office. Can you believe that? Embarrassed Jeannie, I apologize for that!

But at least here is a photo of the bracelet I made for Pat: 3mm Miyuki glass cubes in four shades of blue with an "integrated" toggle clasp. The idea is from Carol Huber Cypher's "Mastering Beadwork". Perfect for people who are allergic to metals!

I got my bracelet! Thank you, Faith! Your choice of pink freshwater pearls and Blue Goldstone is amazing! I love it. And I especially love your little card. Do you have pictures to post?

    Re: October Bracelet Reveal

Courtney, I wore my beautiful bracelet yesterday, but it was really rainy, so I didn't get a chance to take a photo -- too busy fighting with my rain suit, didn't want to deal with taking my camera on my bike in the rain!  Anyway, I wore a navy skirt, lavender tank top, and a handwoven blouse I picked up in Bali made with multiple shades of emerald, sapphire, turquoise, and purple, plus every shade in between.  The bracelet was PERFECT with the outfit!  I so enjoyed wearing it, and got lots of compliments from customers who came in the shop.  It's another rainy day today, but I'll take a photo next time it's sunny.

Dagi, that bracelet is breathtaking!  And that's one of my fave books!!!

    Have a beadiful day!

    Re: October Bracelet Reveal

We've had postal strikes here in England, but today I got home to find Mr Postie had left me lots of mail. In that mail was my bracelet Big Smile

Kimmie - thank you so much. You really couldn't have captured girly, glittery stuff better.
It's so pretty and totally perfect.
If you have piccies please post, other wise I'll try and get my camera to play nice and take some.
Again thank you so very much for my beautiful bracelet =) *hugs*
