New source for displays! - The first shipment is HERE!

As of this morning, AZ Bead Depot is set up to become a distributor of displays. We will be carrying ring boxes, earring cards and pillows, T-Bars, gift boxes, neck busts, etc.

If there is a display item that you haven't been able to find, let me know and I'll do my best to be sure it's included in our first order, just for you! <grin> Of course, it will make it easier to sell things as a "we need to order this" to the Supply Sarge if I can get more than 1 or 2 people who want the same thing!

I don't know what the prices will be, but since we are dealing directly with the importer, there is no "middle man". And, as always, we will pass that savings on to our friends/ customers. There will be a discount for the BD folks, of course, but again, I don't know what it will be because I don't know what our prices will be. We will do our best to be competitive.

Poor Mike, he's got to go out tomorrow and get 2 more sets of shelves for the store and more sets of shelves for the stockroom so that we have a place to put all of it!

We will probably wind up putting the display items on our website, though we haven't figured out how we'll work sales. Probably a combination of e-tail and phone orders.

Let me know what you need, soon - Mike's in a hurry to place that order! When he gets an idea in his mind, it better get done RIGHT NOW! He definitely doesn't let grass grow under his feet!

I just figured out how to put a signature on my posts about a week ago. The URL for the website and to the store blog is there. That's why I'm only signing "Deb" IN the post - all the web info is at the bottom of the post.  Both are slightly behind "real time", but I'm working as fast as I can to get everything up to date! Right now I'm battling a terrible bout of hot flashes - oh, excuse me "power surges". They are DRIVING ME CRAZY! DH says it's not a "drive", it's just a short walk! <LOL>

Just for you - the store website is www.azbeaddepot.com and the store blog is www.azbeaddepot.blogspot.com. I've got a bunch of photos to upload to photobucket and to get on the website. Sheesh - someone got an hour stretcher or a day stretcher?

Are there any items that you are looking for specifically? Color, style, ???? If you have a photo or a good description, I'll make sure they are on the first order.

Right now, we are ordering necks, busts, ring boxes, t-bars, multi strand displays, ring stands, half moon bracelet displays, trays, inserts for the trays, velvet pads, earring cards and pads, ring mandrels, and more. They'll be in white, black, leatherette, velvet and ??. I want to stock what YOU want, not what I think MIGHT sell!

Mike says the first order will half fill a semi truck - where we'll put it, I don't know!

 Hey Deb!

I found these really great "flat panel" earring displays but they are too short.  They are maybe 3 inches tall and I can fit about 8 pairs of earrings on them.  I've never seen them before I got them from an eBay seller not long ago.  I'd love to find these in a taller size, so that I can hang chandelier earrings on them.  Do you know what I mean by flat panel?  Imagine  a single earring display that is free standing, and shaped like an L, but the top part of the L slants back a bit.  You know the type?  These flat panels I got are the same design, only they are long and you can fit 8-10 pairs of earrings on them. 

I'd be interested in knowing if you can get these in a taller size to accommodate chandelier earrings, in leatherette white and leatherette black (if they have it).........Maybe? 

I haven't seen the catalog from our importer yet, but I've browsed a couple of other suppliers. The only one I've seen is a tall version kind of like what you're describing, but it is for a single row of 12 pairs - 6 1/2 " tall. That means probably no more than 2 pairs of chandelier earrings on each one. I WILL look for the one you want as soon as we get the catalog - or if I can get the supply sarge to let me look on the computer for them. (He has the electonic version on his computer.)

If I can find them, they will definitely be on the first order. We have many customer who do shows and I'm sure there are many of them who would like the same thing.

My thing is I never know quite what I want till I see it.

The first shipment got here yesterday and we've been working like fiends to get everything sorted, priced and on the shelves or into the store room. WHOOEEE - lots of COOL STUFF!!!

Besides the basic gift boxes in gold and silver foil, plastic trays and velvet pads, we have hanging earring cards, several kinds of earring (some really neat metal ones) and necklace displays, busts, easels, ring displays, foam inserts for rings and more!

Mike is working hard to get the photos done so we can get them on the internet. If you need something, let me know and I'll put a RUSH on getting the photos, etc. together.

Sheesh - I'd better get back to work before Mike catches me playing on the computer! <LOL>

 HI DEB,   I AM INTERESTED!!!  CAN WE ORDER?  OR NOT YET...LET ME KNOW, PLEASE.   I AM INTERESTED IN A COUPLE OF THINGS ...ONE I WOULD LIKE A FLATTER ...I WILL CALL THIS A PLATFORM...IN BLACK VELVET, IF POSSIBLE AND I WANT THIS PLATFORM TO HOLD MAYBE 3 OR 4 NECKLACES...IT WOULD HELP IF THE PLATFORM HAD AN INDENTATION OR WIDER GROOVE TO HOLD THE NECKLACES APART.  POSSIBLE??     I I AM ALSO LOOKING FOR SMALL BLACK PILLOWS TO HOLD  A SINGLE ITEM SUCH AS A WATCH  OR SINGLE BRACELET OR  A PIN...PLEASE CONTACT ME, THANKS...HELEN
