    Dear USE THE MUSE Participants,

    I am officially extending the deadline of submission for USE THE MUSE III to accommodate for some packages that did not make it to their International destinations as early as I would have liked.  The new deadline is November 9th, 2009 (giving you an additional 3 weeks to complete your entry).  This gives more time for all of you to work on your submission and take photos.  I had a small handful of you post on my forum or email me that a kit has not made it to you yet .  I have just received some additional Muses to complete extra kits to resend to those few people.  Every contest there are always a few packages that get sent back to me or get lost in the mail.  If your initial kit shows up too late for you to use for your schedule, you can return it and I can pass it along to someone who wanted to participate but was unable to because the kits were sold out.  Last event almost all of the people who didn't initially receive a kit and requested a replacement ended up with two kits and sent one back to me because the first one was just caught up in the mail service.  It's very important for me that everyone feels like they have had enough time to work on their entry, that the International Participants feel like this is a contest that they can enter, and that they have enough time to complete their project - therefore I feel an extension is the best solution at this stage in the game.

     No kit yet, but Scarlet is working on sending another one.

     I will be a swallow, winging to warmer climes on the breath of the storm. I will be a deer, running swifter than the sunlight, sheltering in the birch thickets.      Nope, still nothing here. But she said she was going to send another kit.... I am hoping it'll get here soon...

    I'm down with the flu at the moment, I really hate lingering in the house and feeling drousy. Manage to get some beading done, but I'll guess I'll have to cleanse all the pieces I make, because of all the bacteria LOL...

     I'm waiting still too. I am sure Scarlet is just getting caught up. I know she would not make an offer she could not keep.

     Hi Ladies, I just wanted to assure you.  I did the Use the Muse the first two times and while I ordered them early when it first started, it took about 5 days to get.  However, the later you order, it sometimes takes weeks and since she opened it internationally, it may take longer.  She is a very young lady...I believe 19 or 20 and does this all on her own and also does bead shows and beading magazines, it makes it even more difficult and this has become very popular.  So be patient, you will get the kit and I am sure she will extend the deadline.

    have you emailed her and told her you still don't have your kit?  does she know about the problem?  if you can't get ahold of her, email artbeads, they know how to get in touch with her directly.

     I emailed Scarlett again, just waiting to hear back from her. With only 10 days until the new deadline is up, I am getting a little concerned. I'm sure she will make good on her offer though. Scarlett is a good person, I have known her for a long time and I know that she just got overwhelmed this time. It happens to alot of us.

     No.... I have e-mailed her three days ago and haven't received a reply yet. I did take a look at the beads that are included in the kit and I have some in my stash. So I can start, but I think it's really hard to do, when you don't know what the Muse is....

     I know....I bought extras from art beads because I always seem to run out but I can't make anything with the beads without a pendant...I emailed Scarlett about the same time you did....Sad Hopefully we hear back from her soon.

     Since ArtBeads is sponsoring the Muselll, just a thought, but maybe those who didn't get their kits, could contact ArtBeads?

    I feel really bad for you all. I got one kit, and its a work in progress, I ordered $$$ way too much for my budget with the new house. (oh! well!)

    I hope the deadline is extended to allow "Everyone the opportunity to Create".Hopefully they'll compensate to be fair.

    I heard back from Scarlett, she is going to send another kit and gave me a few extra days to try to make something...I can bead under pressure Confused

    So YAY! Hopefully this kit actually makes it this time. <crossing fingers>

    Good to hear Christina, but bummer you still don't have your kit!  What the heck is up with the postal system???

    My project is nearly done.  I had to let it go and come back to it because my brain just wasn't in it.  Just have to finish the last bit of detail and figure out the clasp...
