    Ideas...

I've got the most adorable little cupcake stickers that I thought would look cute as charms on a bracelet. Any clever ideas on how I can make my stickers into charms or beads?

    Hi Stephanie,

I have a co-worker that buys unused bottlecaps and glues images (about 1 inch ones) either inside or on the outside then drills a hole in the crimped side and adds a jump ring to it.  She paints some of them before adding the image.  Then she puts a clear coating on them and threads ribbon through the jump ring.

She also glues them to the flat back of clear flat-backed marbles and glues on a bail then threads ribbon through the bail.  She did say that sometimes there are cracks or bubbles in the marbles that distort the image.  I've seen plastic flat backed marbles on the internet somewhere.  But, that may not work for you since it's stickers - unless you put them on paper first.

Just some thoughts off the top of my head....

Hi Stephanie, first welcome to the forums! Great place here with lots of knowledgable and helpful, caring people whether it's beads or life in general! Come back often!

Second- I love your avatar! Cookie Monster was always my favorite Sesame Street character.

Ok now for your question- You can use frames with your stickers to make them like a picture. I can't explain it well so I will post some links to the products for you. http://www.fusionbeads.com/beadingfaq/techniques.php?bfid=65  This is one way you could do it but on this same site there are other ways. Just check the beading techniques section for more ideas.

    Hope this helps!

Hi Stephanie, Welcome to Beading Daily.    This is a great site with wonderful, talented people and we're glad to meet you.  We love to help each other with questions and post photos of what we make.  If you post an introduction here  http://www.beadingdaily.com/forums/3.aspx  there will be a lot of people posting to welcome you.

I've looked up some previous posts about using resin to make beads, charms and/or pendants with stickers and photos, etc.  There's a lot of information in these I think might be useful to you.

     Hi Stephanie,

welcome to the forums! I heard from a fellow blogger, that she adds stickers and other things with mod podge to wooden beads, so maybe that is a possibility. But I never tried it myself.

I love Cookie Monster, too! I put it on our cookie box in office and my colleagues love it!

I was thinking along the lines of the others as possibilities and the only other thing I can add to the list is scrabble tiles or the small wooden cutouts that you can buy at places like hobby lobby. You would have to glue these and then seal them as well or use the mod podge glue ( spelling? ) .

I guess it would really depend on the size you are wanting...
