    Tool pouches?

I need something to keep my pliers in, they are getting weathered basically from the exposure.

I asked my Mom to make me one but she seems too busy, so does anyone know where I can find one?

I want one that I can slide my pliers in then fold over and over.

All ideas are appreciated, Thanks Smile

     Hi Cat,

I used a "Jewelry Travel bag" for years. I see them at wal mart and yard sales. they laid flat and rolled up. They weren't expensive.

Now, I use a zipper case looks like a little notebook $4.95.(a gift) the Flat one was easier to get into.

The one I use, holds 6 pliers has elastic sewn in to hold the tools.

If you want one like mine, I could scan it (so you can see it )and E mail to you? If you like it,I can get one and send along to you.

Cat, if all else fails you could put them in plastic bags when you're not using them. Just make sure they aren't damp when you put them in there.  The way to keep steel from rusting is to oil it, but obviously that wouldn't work for pliers unless you were storing them for awhile.

That is what I am looking for.

I am going to check Michaels for something, already checked my WalMart and they didn't have anything but then again their crafting/sewing section is so small another Walmart might have one.

I am going to have to go this route for now. I paid entirely too much for those pliers to let them get rusty! They are starting to get weathered and it is recommended to keep them in something so I will use a bag for now.

I got some oil last night for them. I read not too long ago that I am supposed to oil them so I went and picked some up. Hope it works to help restore them a bit.

    Thanks!

Could I see a picture too ... My pliers is allso looking for a home. Not that they are the good expensive stuff - but its so un-pracital to have them in those zip bags I bought them in.

Try looking in the sections of the store for knitting and crocheting, I'm pretty sure I've seen those roll up kinds of things and I think they kight work for tools too.  I've also seen similar products for artists for paint brushes and what not.  Now that I'm thinking about it, I wonder if they might even sell such a thing in the hardware store for actual tools!
