    Opinions welcome

I usually make Native American style craft items and jewellery, but I do also make other stuff.  I'd welcome comments on these two.  I call them Moonlit Night and Aegean Swirl.

Those are both LOVELY! I especially like your Aegean Swirl... but then, I'm partial to those shades. Moonlight night is very nice, but feels like it's missing something. I can't figure out what it would be though... I LOVE the focal! So there's my $0.35 (as Sant would say, to account for inflation)

Merita ~ They are both so beautiful, similiar yet uniquely different.  I love the colors in Aegean Swirl but the simple color combination in Moonlight Night is wonderful also.  Please share more of your work with us hereCool

Thank you both for your kind comments.  I see so many lovely works of art here that I've always assumed mine couldn't compete with them.

aw pa-shaw! So not true! These are WONDERFUL! And something I myself can't do. I am a die hard stringer, but have GREAT respect for those of you bead weavers. I don't seem to have the patience!

Merita, wow!    Beautiful, great work!  I love the woven ends and focals in the blue/green piece and that first one just looks so balanced, perfect in black and white, and easy to wear.  I sure think you could compete with anybody with these!!!  I'd love to see some of the Native American things you make too.

Hi Jeannie, yes it's a button.  I saw it at my local bead store and knew it would be perfect for a necklace.  I always check the button department as well as the bead department, there's often treasure there!

Hi Leigh & Sheila, thank you both.  I'm amazed and delighted that so many like them.  It's spurred me on to do more and now my little mind is working steadily in the background designing something else Big Smile

They are both beautiful.  I, too, am a stringer - almost instant gratification (I have no patience) and I have carpal tunnel syndrome and tendonitis.  But I do like the look of the weaving and have a lot of respect for those that do it.
