*L* Sorry, I meant I will be involved every time.   perpetual=continuing, not stopping  participant=person who is taking part in something

I forget that with English being your second language, you don't know all the odd words used only occasionally. And I'm REALLY bad about using obscure terms. Just tell me if I do that. My dad has a real LOVE for big words, so I grew up with a rather unusual vocabulary. One of my favorites is a real contradiction! Eschew Obfuscation, meaning "avoid (escher) making something hard to understand (obfuscation)" something I am often guilty of! Embarrassed

etid--reading back through this, I think I have done it again.....

Hello!

This will be my first swap and I just want to make sure I get this right...

We all get the name of somebody else in the forum and make them a fabulous pair of earrings that get shipped out by a certain date.

I was going through some of the older posts from previous swaps... some people made multiple pairs of earrings... are we supposed to ensure that they're of a certain value? That's the only part that I'm confused about.Sorry if the answer to this is posted somewhere else... I did look for it, although I was unsuccessful!

I'm really excited about this!! It seems like a lot of fun!

No its no value on it. I think we decided that earrings was small and easy so you can allways use "left overs" beads. So its hard to set a price.
The deal is a set of earrings. But if you for any reason feel like making 2 - or you cant deside which to send and want to send 2 ... thats your call.

And yes you will get a mail around june 12-15 ... and thats gives you your "mark of the month" - so you make one and send it on the given date (not looked at the exact dates yet). And pleace keep your marks name to your self, if you need to ask for any addtional info mail me and I will ask your mark for you and let you knwo the answer.
This way you dont know who made yours until they are in your mailbox.

Hey there Briggs! Welcome to the forum AND the earring swap! If you want to get in on another swap, I'm having sign-ups for a bracelet swap too, which you are welcome to join in on. Regardless, we're glad to have you with us!

I'm going to stick with the earrings for now. I may add other stuff later as my hands allow. I'm dabbling at the store AND I'm turning a bedroom into a full scale office/studio too, so I have to work awhile, then take a break awhile. It's slow, but it is going to be so freakin' cool when finished.

Billy-- I can imagine how hard that is! I didn't do ANY beading when I was moving, and haven't had the energy or hand strenght to do any while we've been working on our yard, but like you say "it's going to be so freakin' cool when finished"  Perhaps we'll see you jump in for the October bracelet swap! Wink Good Luck with the studio!

Yes, I'm in on the earring swap until I say otherwise. I'm just not going to get into the bracelet swaps or anything like that right now.
