 I'd LOVE to tell you, but it's supposed to be annonymous, so all I can say is it's in the seed beads catagory.

woohoo!!!! I made it! In 6 categories!!!!

I can't believe it! I'm in on stones, glass, plastics, seed beads, under $25, and metals. I din't make it in the pearls or hearts category, but I felt those were my weakest designs. However, I feel like the competition is SO strong this year, I'm doubtful I'll win anything. Everyone else's designs are really strong! Of course, I voted for myself, so I'll at least get 1 vote. :-)

I went and voted. Yes there were some categories that I was instantly like "That is it!" but then others were a little harder to find. There were a couple of catagories I wish I could have picked my favorite 2!

Anyway, I wish all of you the best of luck!

Now, how do we get back in to the bead star site after we have already voted to see the finalists again? I want to check out my competition more thoroughly now that my blood pressure is almost back to normal.

I voted also! Kudo's go to all the judges because even though I got into glass and pearls, I can't believe all the beautiful designs in every category.  Lots of creativity.  I didn't get in  under metals or sead beads or gemstones.  However i am thrilled I got in on two categories.  I got in on one category last year but didn't win but I think it is great to get out there and push the envelop.  I am new to the forum but I have been a lurker for awhile.

I voted, and I made the finals in the metals category!  I was surprised because I entered that piece on a whim.  I was actually more suprised that my heart design didn't make it in, but I'm not complaining.  Good luck to all the finalists!

Yes, I wonder how many of us our scratching our heads wondering why our design wasn't picked.  I think it would be rather daunting to go through 2000+ entries without going somewhat cross-eyed.  I'm just glad it wasn't up to me.  Good luck to all the finalists.

Jeni, I've been waiting for you to post to see if you made it. Congratulations! After seeing your work on the use the muse contest, I thought you probably had a good chance. Unfortunately, several of us from the forum are competing against each other in a few different categories. I'm dying to get back in a look at the finalists again--I can hardly remember anything I saw this morning, except they were all really good.

My heart necklace didn't make it either, but I didn't think it would. It was sort of biker chick style, with a pendant bead I made that looked sort of like an old school tattoo of a heart. At least it was "unique."
