Hello Wiilowmoon, I used Quickbooks when I was office manager at a machine shop. May I ask why you are thinking of using it? If it's to keep track of your jewelry business income I would recommend Quicken. I have a B.S. In mathematics and took 2 years in advanced accounting and Quickbooks was not "quick" for me. It wasn't frustrating, but it wasn't intuitive either. You would be better off setting up your own books on Excel.

Here is a link to a discussion on Rena Klingenberg's site about different ways to keep track of inventory, expenses, and pricing.

If you want jewelry-specific software, the two major players are Jewelry Designer Manager and Bead Manager Pro.  I've linked each software to its respective website.  If you do a little googling, there are plenty of reviews out there with people listing the pros and cons of each program.
