Free effective way of promotion

I found some usefull information in facebook. to get more customer for your online shop. It is absolutely free!

I had been test to do this on my hubby local online store, and we already have some customer (and maybe alotttttts of potential customer) from this free campaign. So i think i better share this with you.

All you have to do is

1. Sign in at your facebook account or create one if you do not have any yet.

2. Get Facebook coupon code from The Visa Business Network 
With  join The Visa Business Network at Facebook, Facebook will give you coupon code that worth US$100. Fill all information that required to fill at http://apps.facebook.com/visabusiness/sign_up  and they will send you the US$100 coupon code to your email

3. Go to your facebook ads manager at http://www.facebook.com/home.php?#/ads/manage/ and then click on "Billing" to check that your US$ 100 coupon has active before you start bidding on your ad

Facebook can bring you alot of new potential customer. We have more than 500 unique visitors to our site only in 2 hours and some of them put their order. But since facebook member are non spesific beading member, i think do not post to sell "beading stuff" in there, you better ads your "general use item" like jewelry or something like that ;-)
 

Interesting.  I may have to check that out.  I've never really looked at Facebook, My Space or any of those.  I already have too much to keep up with, but to get jewelry buyers and not just jewelry makers to look at my work I may have no choice.  Of course I want to show things I make to my fellow beaders, but somehow I don't think you all are my target market...something about preaching to the choir, I believe.

yeah.. i think it will be useless try to sell some beaded stuff on this forum. Just like pouring salt into the sea. lol

But for me, i love to join here because i feel that beading daily members are so friendly and somehow feels like i have another family here.

Well I guess I'm part of the choir but I have bought things from GoddessJoy & Nemeton because I saw their things here on Beading Daily.  So I guess some of us may buy if we see things that we just gotta have.

I have use those code above and all works for me. Every code worth US$ 25 but some of them will be expired at the end of January 2009 so you better hurry use it

none of those coupon codes worked. i tried them all and i got this notification:

Sorry, the code that you entered was invalid, has already been used, or has expired.

where did you get those codes? i did get that $100 free coupon tho. how much you bid for an ad?

oops sorry, i get it from google... it was really works for me 3 days ago.. but dont know why it did not work now.. i think i better delete those code. But at least you will still get US$100 free credit from Visa Business Network.

Three days ago i use CPC, max bid 0.12 and daily budget US$50. I have around 600 visitors to my site from this ad only in 3 hours.

Now I use CPM, max bid 0.15 and daily budget US$10.  I have spent US$4 today and get 61 visitors to my site

 Ok I will search google and see if I can find more codes :) No worries about the codes I am just glad to hear about the $100 I am very excited to watch me ad get clicks!! Thanks for letting us know what you put as a bid too, I was wandering if my bids were appropriate I think I might be a little high! Anyway thanks for sharing your experience with this! I will let you all know what my success looks like too. The ad just got approved this morning, so we will see :)

I just signed up for that this past sunday.  My budget is only $3 a day though.  Got me 12 views the first day.  I figure the $100 will last me a month.  Do you think $3 is too little?  Also, what keywords are you using?

I dont put any specific keywords. I just targeting every one in my country that older than 17 years old.

I think the bigger budget is the better way to get more visitors to your site. But i think with US$3 you should be get around 30-40 visitors
