Charm & Be Charmed Swap!
How fun is this? Cloth Paper Scissors magazine is holidng a mixed media charm swap. Basically, you make up to five original charms, send them in with your entry fee ($5 US or $10 international) and get back the same number of handcrafted charms from other readers. Then you can use them in your own original jewelry.
If you need some ideas, there's a nice article by Elin Waterston in the Jan/Feb 2009 issue that gives instructions on making three types of charms with wood and fabric, polymer clay, and shrink plastic.
