Hi All,

I'm new to the wonderful world of beading and am attempting to make the Lasso Loops bracelet on page 54 of April/May issue of Beadwork.   The bracelet uses 2 hole seed beads and the tubular herringbone stitch. I'm having a really difficult time keeping the tension tight.  It seems that every time I stitch the step up I ruin any tension that was creating in the previous round.  What am I doing wrong? I've had to re-do it several times because I can't seem to get right.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Try hanging on to you working thread near your stitches. What I do is sort of wrap the thread over my index (not around, just over) then I hold the thread with my middle finger. This helps me control my tension. Not sure this will work fir you, but worth a try.

Happy Beading!!
