Hi, got a question for more knowledgeable bead crocheters out there. I make simple bead crochet ropes with slip stitch and using super simple patterns (think spiral stripes). Every time I have prestrung someone else's crochet pattern and then tried to crochet it, the pattern doesn't turn out like the one in the photo. The patterns look like the standard slip stitch rope (the brick stitchy look), and don't say anything about using a particular crochet stitch.
Anyone have ideas where I might be going wrong?
